A small group of friends moved to Warwick and Leamington to start the church. Most of us moved from The Kings Church, Didcot to help start something new.

We are now a friendly group of about 50 people ranging in age from 0 to 80+ and welcome anyone that wants to come along. A good proportion of the group are new to the Christian faith and got involved by doing the Alpha course.

We plan to start new churches in Leamington Spa and other towns in Warwickshire and the West Midlands in the next few years.

The church is led by Jeremy and Joanna Bray. They have lived in Oxfordshire and India, and want to help good churches get planted and growing. Jeremy is a freelance medical writer who tries not to support Chelsea FC. Jo is an ex-police officer who is learning the piano and loves gardening. They have been foster carers for over 20 years, and are allowed to live in their house by Josh the dog.

open:house is part of an international family of churches called Salt & Light Ministries and is a member of the Evangelical Alliance (Membership Number 186398). We work closely with Community Church Derby and Oxfordshire Community Churches.
